I wish to inform you that one of the great

Dear Jeff,

I'm George Mitchell's wife and contacting you on his behalf, as he's tied up tonight himself. We saw on this web site that you have a "George Mitchell" program scheduled for this coming Sunday. When you talked to him last week, he was just getting ready to leave for New Orleans. While you talked about interviewing him, he did not understand you to get down to any specifics, and you haven't yet called him back as he requested. He still expects you to call and discuss the interview idea - timing, content, whether it's a go. This Sunday we do have some plans in place for part of the day.

Please call soon if you still want to set something up. He teaches, but is usually home by 5:30. 404-874-0139

Thank you.

The recordings of Peg Leg Howell done by George Mitchell were released on LP by Testament Records back in the day. They show that musically he had sadly passed his use-by date; of historical interest only.
